Bikes

The Soloist. It's a name from deep in our history, but immediately familiar to anyone with bike racing memories extending back to the early-2000s. It was the weapon of choice for top World Tour contenders on CSC and the Cervelo Test Team, and we're bringing it back for a new generation. The new Soloist is designed for the week-in, week-out rider, and racer who can only justify one high-performance bike. It balances light weight and aerodynamic advantages to deliver a bike that really is 'just right'. Soloist comes in a hair lighter than the S5, but significantly more aerodynamic than the R5, and borrows the threaded bottom bracket standard you find on the R5-CX. It's a race bike that can accommodate mechanical and electronic shifting, can hammer out the training miles in all weather, and yet still has the chops to leap off the front at that decisive moment. That's the Soloist. - Fast Like S5, Light Like R5 Soloist sits right between S5 and R5 on the performance scale, while having a price tag that’s less World Tour, more Road Trip. It’s about 250g heavier than R5, and 250g lighter than S5. It’s 190g slower than S5, but 126g faster than R5. You get the idea. It’s the ‘just-right’ answer for the rider trying to find a smart, intentional compromise. - Looks Like A Race Bike, Rides Like A Race Bike We took the handling geometry for the Soloist directly from R5. The R5 is beloved by pros and amateurs alike for its poise, stability, and precision when that killer climb turns into an even more killer descent. Soloist benefits from our decades of race bike geometry development, and comes out of the gate ready to go. - Hidden From The Wind, No Bleed Necessary The cable routing is inside the frame for aerodynamics but doesn't go through the stem. We developed our own system that threads the cables under the stem but through the bearing cap. Whether your position changes or you loan the bike to a friend who uses a different stem length, you won't need to bleed the brakes to swap the stem. - Clearance To Buzz The Tower The Soloist fits tires up to 34mm (measured), and wheels wide enough to support them. - BBRighT-47 The BBRighT-47 bottom bracket, which first appeared on the R5-CX, is ideal for those who log big miles but don't have a pro wrench checking the bike over every day. It makes BB swaps a breeze (convenient if you're burning through hand-me-down components) and extends the life of the frame.

Progressive but racy, ZFS-5 was built for today's evolving XCO courses - it has to pedal well and handle quickly, but also take on the chunks, jumps, and drops littering the circuit. ZFS-5's 67.8-degree head tube angle delivers the precision required for elbow-to-elbow hole shot sprints, and the confidence to let off the brakes when the track gets rough. And in 120mm-outfitting, the 66.6-degree head angle will give you the extra confidence to push harder and ride faster, even when the trail gets a bit...hellish. - Flat Bars, Suspension, Cervelo? World Cup season is here, and we’re all in. The Z bikes—the ZHT-5 and the ZFS-5, our hardtail, and full-suspension, respectively—made their race debut at the Nove Mesto World Cup. The pilots? World Cup veteran and former Dutch National XCO Champion Milan Vader alongside reigning Cyclocross World Champion Fem van Empel. - Call It A Comeback Milan Vader is a veteran XC racer and former Dutch National Champion. He was set to race the Z bikes in 2022, but a life-changing crash at Itzulia Basque Country meant his priorities were re-learning to walk and ride. He’s recovered phenomenally well and much faster than the doctors expected and will be racing the entire World Cup circuit this year. - Double Dutch Fem van Empel is one of Team Jumbo-Visma’s most recent signings, and she’s already made the rainbow connection. Following a decisive World Cyclocross Championships win in Hoogerheide, she traded knobbies for slicks this Spring and has now set her sights on improving her best-ever World Cup results and landing on the podium.

When Team Jumbo-Visma decided it was time to race XCO, they came to us for the answer. The ZHT-5 marks a new era for Cervelo and the team, as we go racing together. Our engineering expertise has already been proven in cyclocross (R5-CX) and gravel racing (Aspero), and now we've upped the ante and designed a mountain bike worthy of the Cervelo name. ZHT-5 is a Cervelo through and through: fast, efficient, and fun to ride. The 69-degree head tube angle, modern reach, and short chainstays combine to make a bike that's stable at speed and nimble enough for pack racing. There's room to maneuver in the cockpit, whether you're darting inside on an uphill hairpin, or hanging off the back to make time on the descent. SPEED FIRST - Our mantra is to make riders faster. And doing that means creating bikes that turn power into forward motion as efficiently as possible. Nothing does this more effectively in dirt than a hardtail. But power is nothing without control, so we focused on making a rapid cross-country race bike that still handles confidently in technical sections, feeding the desire to ride faster. STIFF, LIGHT & READY TO FIGHT - Weighing in at just 907g (size Medium), ZHT-5 is a featherweight fighter with the punchy turn of pace that only a hardtail can deliver. Decades of making frames built for the strongest sprinters in the world has fed into a super stiff mountain bike design that propels you to the front without compromising weight or ride quality. MODERN GEO FOR THE MODERN XC RIDER - If you've not ridden a hardtail for a while, you'll be surprised at how the ZHT-5's 69-degree head tube angle, 457mm reach (size L), and 430mm chainstays feel progressive and refreshingly modern. If you've ridden them all your life, you'll be baffled at how we've managed to eke out yet more performance from such a clean and simple design. The ZHT-5's geometry puts you in the driving seat to carve up all the tight hairpins and features that litter the ups and downs of today's XC trails. NOT OUR FIRST RODEO - We know from winning cyclo-cross World Champs that when the going gets gritty, threaded bottom brackets are the best way to go. ZHT-5 adopts the BSA threaded standard to meet the strength, stiffness, durability and serviceability needs of racers and race mechanics alike. It also makes it the ideal winter training companion.
Our engineers like to joke that, "if it looks fast, it probably is." But there's some truth to that, and Áspero-5 looks fast standing still. No cables in the wind, tube shapes from our aerodynamically-proven library, and a hint of a cut-out in the seat tube, all add up to a bike that proves the adage. - Lightweight Speed Some might say aero doesn't matter on a gravel bike, but if you've battled a headwind across an open prairie, the thirty-two grams of drag you'll save with the Áspero-5 come as a welcome respite. Most gravel racing is done without the benefit of a World Tour peloton—or World Tour tactics—and when it's your nose in the wind all day, it's nice to know your bike's shouldering a bit of the load. - Two Position Adjustment Trail—front-wheel response to rider input—is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. Flipping the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the difference in circumference between a 650b and 700c tire maintains consistent handling by maintaining consistent trail figures. - Multiple Configurations We designed Aspero with clearance for up to 700c x 40mm tires or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing, and tread depth—which will affect final clearance. We (and the International Organization for Standardization, or ISO), always recommend 4mm of clearance between the tire and frame. **New Shimano road (not gravel) 12-speed front derailleurs reduce tire clearance in the rear of the frame to 700 x 38c or 650b x 45c. - SRAM Integrated Power Red and Force builds include Quarq Zero power meters integrated into the crank. The integration of a power meter results in better stiffness, lighter weight, and improved accuracy over aftermarket solutions—and the DZero delivers power measurement accurate to +/- 1.5%, even in variable temperatures.
- 100% recycled Schwalbe Road Cruiser 700c x 40 Green Compound tires and inner tubes promote sustainability - Rice husk particulate grips and pedals use discarded Taiwanese rice waste product, providing an eco-friendly alternative - Saddle uses eco-friendly cover and foam materials borrowed from the Chinese bicycle-sharing market - Shorter stem and longer top tube provides more stable handling and better rider positioning - Wide, mid-rise handlebars provide better control and posture

Meet the one bike to rule them all. Meet the new Furtado. The Furtado is more than a bike, it's your partner in grime. From winding singletrack to burly rock gardens, the unmatched maneuverability of the Furtado makes it the perfect dirt-ally for every escape. Re-designed for the 20's, this year's Furtado bumps up the capability to the do-it-all (then do it again) frame. The 27.5" inch wheels fitted with grippy 2.4" tires turn loose lines into Velcro, letting you weave through trails with the confidence of a kid wearing a cape. The 130mm rear travel and 140mm front travel floats over chunky trails while the lower link suspension keeps the traction high, letting you push the pedals without worrying about slipping or sliding. Size-specific chainstay lengths coupled with a relaxed, 65 degree headtube angle create a bike that twists and turns, letting you tackle the unknown with the confidence to commit. From the lighter-tuned rear suspension that ensures full use of the travel to the nimble geometry and selection of build kits, the Furtado puts you in control. Make every second carved from a busy day count. Snake through the tight switchback, then eye up the ledge that's had your number for far too long. The question was never if you'll clear it, but when. The Furtado's balanced design and controlled feel turns to-do lists into just-did-that lists, and questions of when into exclamations of let's do it again!

Ready to rally the World. A 1:25000 scale map, a weather forecast, and the Roubion. Three things you shouldn't hit the high mountains without. And while we can't guarantee you won't get lost or soaked, we're pretty sure there's no better bike to tackle ancient alpine terrain. Whether blind racing or just blindly enjoying the trails as they come, the Roubion's MX wheel combo feels like the best mix since Aperol met Spritz. A 29-inch front wheel serves up high-speed stability and high-rolling confidence. Meanwhile, the 27.5-inch rear makes for an intuitive and highly maneuverable rear end that loves to get sideways around the most ragged of switchbacks. This bike is rapid, so when it comes to stopping power and control we've mixed things up here also. A 200mm front and 180mm rear brake rotor pairing ensures you shouldn't overcook the corners no matter how hot you're coming in. The Roubion's chainstay lengths are all specifically sized for the XS, S, and M frames too, meaning handling remains consistent across the range. And like all Julianas, each shock is tuned to work better for slightly lighter riders than equivalent Santa Cruz models. Wheel Size: - Size X-Small: 27.5-inch - Sizes Small – Medium: 29-inch front / 27.5-inch rear
Saving weight means little without retaining an appropriate level of stiffness and responsiveness too. So we've taken all the acceleration and out-of-the-saddle sprint qualities of a carbon XC race rocket and fused them with a rear-end that still rails corners like a hardcore trail bike. This unique XC-trail attitude is also reflected in the geometry. The head tube angle (67.1 degrees) and reach (425mm) are a little steeper and shorter than a Joplin to meet the demands of aggressive climbing, yet the Wilder's seat tube angle is a touch slacker and the chainstays a little longer than a Joplin too in order to retain that familiar Juliana confidence on descents. And talking of chainstays, each chainstay length is specific to the individual frame size; meaning riders of every height enjoy the same handling and performance no matter what. Beyond the details, there are some bigger features that amplify this XC wild child's abilities. Rapid rolling 29-inch wheels are paired with a 120mm fork to tame the feral lines and smooth the sketchiest of passing maneuvers. There's even room for two water bottles within the front triangle for bigger training and racing days.

The 5010 is not just "the little bike" of our range. It makes even the most mundane trails feel like they're loaded with features to hop, skip and jump over. It's like having super-skills at your fingertips. The 5010 has always been more capable than many expected but with the traction-gaining 29-inch wheel up front and even more refined suspension the 5010 gives you a deft touch on the trails.
Get creative with your surroundings. The 5010 turns obstacles into features. Its nimble, poppy feel makes even the most mundane rides feel like they're loaded with features to hop, skip, and jump over. It's the kind of bike that makes new trails feel as familiar as the back of your hand. 27.5 is the fun-sized wheel size. Smaller wheels provide an ideal balance between toughness and weight saving making them the most fleet-footed (or quick fingered) whether launching logs or weaving through stumps. With its quick and agile character, the 5010 has become a go-to plaything for progressive riders the world over and the only contender on any backyard trails. It's a bike that goes harder than its vital stats may suggest. A 140mm-travel fork is paired with 130mm at the rear, the lower-link VPP configuration of which leaves you feeling there's a lot more travel at hand. And, you can choose how out of hand you want to get, as this pocket rocket fits all sizes and types of rear shocks. It's no handful, either. The relatively slack head angle makes it predictable to steer, the relatively low BB height turns like it's on tracks, and the short chainstays make this plaything easy to pick up and throw around. No matter how much of a big kid you are, the bike grows with you. We've tailored the geometry so frame size is matched to size-specific chainstay lengths and super-low standover heights make it feel (almost) like that BMX you had as a kid. Okay, perhaps that's a bit nostalgic, but the 5010's certainly a perfect gateway to the highs only proper mountain biking can offer. The 5010's balance and poise can turn any rider from cautious neophyte into a full-fledged flyer. The legendary Santa Cruz fit, finish, and quality construction make this pocket rocket tougher than a Tonka toy. Fun and games are guaranteed, and the frame and linkages come with a lifetime warranty. So don't be afraid. Roll up your sleeves, and go get creative.
Each weekend, at race venues the world over, there is one rider who gets hoisted upon the shoulders of the crowd and carried to the podium. Or at least leaves with a water bottle as their prize. And between each of those races, innumerable wannabes are putting in the hours on the rollers and in the gym all because they want to feel what it's like to take the win. They know that to beat the pack every advantage needs to be acquired. That's where the Blur fits in. We tapped into everything we've learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes so that we could put as little (weight) as possible into the Blur frame. The trim frame and super-efficient Superlight suspension will be the key to translating your input into competition-beating performances. But the Blur isn't just for the short track. Two water bottle mounts within the front triangle should keep chuggers happy. And the high-quality fit, finish, and carbon construction promises multi-day racers a worry-free existence—meaning there's no fiddly proprietary parts that could leave you stranded in a Cape Epic or Breck Epic campsite. The carbon frame, while being light, is made to go the distance and as always the legendary Santa Cruz lifetime warranty and Rider Support team have got your back. The Blur isn't guaranteed to make you a race winner, but being the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike we've ever made (Approx 23lb as complete. Blur frame is 289g lighter than the previous model), it might be the difference between claiming first place...or just crossing the line. The TR builds feature more travel (115mm rear, 120mm front), slightly beefier tires (Maxxis Rekon), a full-height adjust dropper post, no lockout remote, and larger brake rotors. It's not a trail bike, it's an XC bike for certain courses.
